Pierce Ceder Creek Institute

This year’s event is at Pierce Cedar Creek Institute ten miles south of Hastings, Michigan. It is a modern educational facility located on 849 acres of pristine land, with access to almost unlimited varieties of foraging plant life.

Pierce Cedar Creek Institute is a nature center, environmental education center, and biological field station with nine miles of hiking trails.

Housing: They do have farmhouse rooms available to rent for those of you who are coming from afar. Room rates are separate from the event. Please contact Tracy Noorman directly for rates: tnoorman@cedarcreekinstitute.org or 269-721-4190

Hotels, etc.: There are couple of hotels/motels in Hastings, a Bed and Breakfast or two, and a good selection of hotel options closer to Kalamazoo, Grand Rapids, and the Highway 131 corridor. There are three campgrounds within 45 minutes. We will let you figure out what fits your needs best. Again, lodging is not included in the price.
